Colorado Campus MBA
The Colorado Mortgage Lenders Association (CMLA) and Campus MBA have teamed up to offer the Certified Mortgage Lender (CML) Program online. In addition to the six courses required for the CML designation, gain access to 74 Campus MBA web-based courses for one low price!The CML program comprises two basic functions: education and certification. The education component is offered through Colorado Campus MBA (online), CMLA educational events (see Meetings and Events page for schedule), as well as through classes held at the Community College of Aurora (CCA).
A student who successfully completes all six courses and who can document two years experience working in the mortgage lending industry is eligible to receive the CML designation. Conversely, a person who has a satisfactory number of years experience in the real estate finance industry as well as other industry education/certifications may apply for the CML designation. In any case, all applicants for the CML designation must submit an application to the CMLA for consideration of the CML designation.
EDUCATION
CML training courses are available to anyone who is interested in furthering a career in mortgage lending. Industry experience is not required in order to participate in the CML courses through Colorado Campus MBA or through CCA, nor are students required to be members of the Colorado Mortgage Lenders Association to participate in the CML program.
The CML education program through the Community College of Aurora offers a total of eight courses covering topics ranging from Introduction to Mortgage Banking to Secondary Marketing.
