Carol Peterson, Universal Lending Corporation

Carol Peterson has been in the mortgage industry for over 26 years.  She has worked all aspects of the mortgage side - from origination to post closing and everything in between. Operations is her strength.  Currently she is the Executive Director over Universal Lending’s Crestline Division (Net Loan Officer).
Carol had been aware of the CML program for some time, but just hadn’t taken the time to fill out the application. “For many years I have qualified for the CML award. However, I felt with the onset of the new registration/licensing laws that it was a good time to apply.  What better way to set myself apart from the rest?”
Carol feels that the CML designation gives an individual a certain clout of honesty, professionalism and trust above the other tens of thousands in the small world of mortgage banking and brokering.
As for the most influential person in her mortgage history, Carol cites Greg Osborne, Former Chairman of CMLA and Certified Mortgage Lender.  “Greg has given me so many opportunities to grow and thrive in this industry. I am very thankful for our friendship and being his partner for many years.”
