Why Join CMLA?
We serve our community through principled representation, effective education, and gracious networking to advance free enterprise and the highest ethical standards in the mortgage lending industry.
Representation Goals:
1. To be committed to free enterprise and proactive in promoting the interests of our membership to the legislature, agencies, general public, media, and affiliated association.
2. To be effective in analyzing the details and communicating the impact of relevant issues, regulations, and events to our members and affiliated parties.
Benefits
We employ a full time lobbyist to make sure our members’ legislative interests are best served.
We give you strong input on future regulations by maintaining a healthy relationship and by working closely with mortgage industry regulators.
We provide structured forums with a professional facilitator to allow members to share strategies and solutions to common challenges facing individuals and companies. Current forums include our Future Mortgage Leaders Program and Executive Panels.
We host a wide variety of speakers at our monthly luncheons. Some of our past speakers have included Governors Ritter and Owens as well as key individuals within the real estate community.
