Membership Dues

Membership in CMLA applies to an entire company. All individual employees within a member company are considered members and enjoy all CMLA member benefits. A company's membership dues are based on the number of full-time employees (including principals) who work in the State of Colorado. If the applicant is a financial lending institution other than a mortgage company, and the business operates a mortgage lending department, the dues, at the discretion of the Board of Directors, may be determined and assessed based upon the number of employees who work in the State of Colorado within said mortgage lending department.

First year membership dues must be received with the completed Application for Membership and the signed Code of Ethics Certification. All membership categories permit voting rights and election to board/office, except the Limited Membership.

The Limited Membership dues category is a permanent membership extended only to mortgage brokers with two or less employees. At a state level, CMLA Limited Members do not have voting rights/privileges and cannot be elected to board or officer positions in CMLA. Limited Members are not eligible to participate in the CMLA Member Services Program and also must pay a modest surcharge for CMLA marketing materials over the regular member rate. Limited Membership can be upgraded to Full Membership at any time with payment of the additional dues differential.
