Education & Networking

Monthly Luncheons - CMLA schedules monthly luncheons in Metro Denver and Chapter Regions for members to gather and acquire industry information from relevant speakers.

Wholesale Lending Fair - CMLA organizes one of the largest mortgage tradeshows in the country for mortgage professionals to gather and learn about the newest developments in mortgage technology, products, and services.

Convention - CMLA presents an annual convention for members to socialize and attend educational sessions in the pristine setting of the Colorado Rocky Mountains.

Seminars & Workshops - Periodic classes are also scheduled to supplement these education initiatives in order to provide timely education on emerging challenges and developing issues.

Information

Newsletter - The association publishes a monthly e-newsletter which provides news and information about CMLA activities and industry topics. Members may submit articles, letters and press releases to be considered for inclusion. The newsletter is also used by members as an advertising vehicle.

Membership Directory - A directory is maintained by the CMLA office and is updated on a monthly basis. Listings include member companies, addresses, telephone and fax numbers and the key contact person at each office. The directory also provides listings of officers and board members, past presidents and member service companies. The directory is available at no charge to members.

Member Services Companies

CMLA provides access to companies offering discounted pricing to members for specialized services such as specialty insurance, employee benefits, promotional products, copier/fax service and long distance.

Representation of Member Interests

Legal Counsel & Legislative Lobbyist - These individuals help CMLA actively monitor legislation that will impact the mortgage lending industry and represent the interests of the association in the Colorado legislature and judicial system.

Committees & Task Forces - These forums provide members the opportunity to meet industry challenges involving current state and federal regulations, fraud, and technological changes by working with government and civic organizations.
