Meeting & Event Reservation/Cancellation Policies and Payment Options
Reservation Policies
Reservations and payments are required for monthly luncheons and must be received at the CMLA office prior to the event or on-site at the registration desk. On-site registrations are not guaranteed entry and are accepted at the door on a space available basis. ALL PAYMENTS RECEIVED AFTER THE EVENT WILL BE CHARGED A $10.00 PROCESSING FEE.
Cancellation Policies
Reservations may be cancelled with no penalty prior to
the reservation deadline. If you are not able to
attend on the day of the event you may send a
replacement. Cancellations received after the deadline
will receive no refund, and will be billed for the event
plus a $10.00 processing fee. No-shows paid prior to the
event will receive no refund, and no-shows registered but
not paid will be billed the cost of the event plus a
$10.00 processing fee. CMLA
accepts cash, personal or business checks, Visa,
MasterCard and American Express credit cards. In
order to keep costs for our events to a minimum, we
appreciate payment at the time reservations are made. If
payment cannot be made at that time, we require payment
no later than check-in at the event. If payment is not
received by event check-in, we will asses a processing
fee (see individual event registration forms for the
specific amount for each respective event).Credit
Card Payments
When making reservations by email or telephone, please
include your credit card number, expiration date, and the
name (personal or corporate) that appears on the card.When
making reservations by fax, please include on the event
registration form your credit card number, expiration
date, and the name (personal or corporate) that appears
on the card.When
you check in at the event, you will find your credit card
receipt attached to your name badge or other registration
materials. In cases where a third party credit card is
used (e.g. manager/employer), the receipt will be
attached to the attendee's name badge for delivery to the
third party.
Cash Payments
CMLA receives very few cash payments. Therefore, our ability to make change at monthly events is generally limited. Exact change is appreciated.
Check Payments
CMLA accepts personal or corporate checks. A $20 processing fee will be applied to any returned check.
Credit Cards
CMLA Accepts all major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Opportunites do exist to pay on-site with cards, though care should be taken to ensure CMLA will be accepting credit cards at that particular event.
