Join the Mortgage Action Alliance (MAA)

The Mortgage Action Alliance (MAA) is a free, voluntary, non-partisan grassroots lobbying network affiliated with the Mortgage Bankers Association.  MAA empowers industry professionals to engage directly in the legislative process.

Get to Know Your Representatives

Understanding your elected official’s positions on housing and mortgage-related issues is critical. 
You can:

• Locate your Colorado State Legislators using https://www.leg.colorado.gov or your US Senators and Representatives using https://www.govtrack.us/congress/members/CO.
• Review their profiles and voting history.  Access contact information to share your perspective.

Political Action Committee (PAC)
CMLA manages two Political Action Committees (PACs) that support bipartisan candidates who demonstrate leadership on issues affecting mortgage lending and homeownership.

Colorado Mortgage Lender Political Action Committee (CMLPAC)
CMLPAC encourages participation in the political process by pooling financial resources to help elect qualified federal candidates whose positions align with  the interests of the mortgage lending industry in Colorado. 

• Maximum Contribution Allowed $625 per election cycle (Example: Nov 2016 - Nov 2018)

• Contributions Accepted from: Individual and companies

*Please note: Foreign nations, foreign corporations and foreign governments are not permitted. 

Citizens for Homeownership Political Action Committee (CFH PAC)

CFH PAC supports candidates who promote sustainable homeownership in Colorado. 

• Maximum Contribution Allowed - $50 per calendar year
